Fort Dansborg

Fort Dansborg was built in Tharangambadi, Tamil Nadu, India in 1622, with the support of the King of Tanjore Raghunatha Nayak, who had given the land to the King of Denmark Christian IV for a rent of Rs. 3,111 (Indian Rupee). Admiral Ove Gjedde had helped build this initial relationship.

 

Green strategic partnership

And now the two countries have entered into a Green Strategic Partnership with an ambitious vision of reducing CO2 emissions by 70% by the year 2030. Prime Ministers Mette Frederiksen and Narendra Modi have initiated this partnership, which will show the world that delivering whether ambitious climate and sustainable energy targets are possible
